Restaurants are a dime a dozen so why not look at The Grande Ballroom it has been a part of downtown Springfield since 1906 and In June of 2006, Aaron Buerge bought the Vandivort Center and did an extensive remodel which brought the room back to a 1930’s architectural style.
The Grande Ballroom is the ideal location to hold your next event. Provide up to 275 guests with spectacular views of Historic Downtown Springfield, Full service bar, Full service banquet catering, complete kitchen and even Valet Parking (50 car minimum).
Catering Menu includes Fresh Vegetables Platter Appetizers, Dinners such as Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken or Cajun Tilapia with Roasted Red Pepper Cream Sauce even such great entrees like Filet Mignon (Cabernet Demi Glaze, Cognac Cream Sauce, Red Wine Reduction, Seasoned), even their lunches have Angel Hair with Red or White Sauce and Bread, but there deserts change daily so you will have to call ahead.
The seating is at comfortable 6’ round tables, spacious 8’ buffet rectangular tables, and includes chairs, linens, candle votives (centerpieces)
Reserving The Grande Ballroom entitles you to the room from 9am-midnight, standard set-up, clean-up, host/s for the evening, and their staff will even help with event planning.
