New Ballroom Dance Lessons in Springfield MO -
Andy and Ann Walls a husband and wife team and ballroom dance instructors will be starting a new group dance class in at the Grande Ballroom in the Historic Vandivort Centre. The Grande Ballroom has a newly refinished hardwood dance floor that is just under 3000 square feet so there will be plenty of room for students to glide and move without stepping on to many toes.
The next session which will focus on Waltz or "American Smooth" the series will be 6 classes occurring once per week for 6 weeks covering Smooth Ballroom Waltz covering the ballroom basics such as frame, leading, following to and most of the basic and advance steps such as;

2. Box Turn (Left)
3. Waltz Steps (Forward)
4. Closed Twinkle
5. Left Turn (Line of Dance)
6. Underarm Turn
7. Right Turns
8. Two Way Turn
9. Single Twinkle
10. Balances - Forward & Back
11. Balance & Left Turn
12. Promenade Underarm
13. Triple Twinkle
14. Running Steps
15. Back Twinkle
16. Conversation
The lessons are scheduled to begin on May 15th, 2007, each class will be every Tuesday evening until the last dance on June 19th, 2007
The tuition fee for this class is $90 per person, with a discounted rate of $150 per couple.

Social dancing, especially Ballroom Dancing is the activity of gentlemen and ladies as it reinforces social etiquette that will carry over into many other social situations. Dance also is also a great way to get your exercise in a fun social atmosphere.
