Our first charity ball of the year is just around the corner and we are so excited! Mark your calendars NOW so you don't miss this grand dancing event!! The date is April 5, 2008 at 7:00 pm at Vandivort's Grande Ballroom.
We will feature Jacob Burmood's beautiful sculpture and pottery, along with a raffle (Jacob will be creating a unique work of art for the raffle), silent auction and dance exhibitions. There will be dance music, an array of tasty appetizers and a cash bar. Something for everyone!!
Ballroom dance the night away, foxtrot, waltz, swing, and tango we will be dancing all the traditional dances and maybe even some new moves.
We have our dance photographers on board as well, we'll have a roaming photographer taking action shots, as well as our portrait photographer, who will furnish you with a CD onsite of your photos at no charge!! Get a picture of you and all of your dance partners of the evening. Donations are welcome and proceeds go directly to the Family Violence Center.
This Ballroom dance event benefits the Family Violence Center. They provide shelter, advocacy and education to all victims of domestic violence and promote the principle that all individuals have the right to a life free from abuse. For more information, go to http://familyviolencecenter.org/.
