First dates in Springfield Missouri can become a fun filled adventure with the multitude of things to do.
You can start off at any time of the day and end wherever you like. I would lean towards a short first date because if it is uncomfortable then the you can call it short but if sparks seem to fly then you can extend it with a few back up plans fairly easy. So always start with a short date scheduled.
Lets look at an average evening short date first, even though most average dates are in the evening this will be an adventure.
First look at your budget if it is tight you can go with the quiet coffee meeting at The MudHouse coffee shop at 323 South Ave or stop at America's Incredible Pizza at 2850 S. Campbell Ave both are inexpensive and informal and great for a first time date.
If you are shooting for a little wow factor I would suggest Gallery Bistro at 221 E. Walnut Street at little more impressive and intimate.
Now what to do after getting a bite to eat or as a second date? How about Dancing but not "just" dancing how about a Ballroom dance lesson from Sonshine Royal Ballroom at 1335 E Republic Rd. They have lessons most days of the week for $10 and also do private lessons for $50. So look in your budget and give them a call even if you think it is a little strange let me tell you you will enjoy it maybe even take a few side classes to impress the opposite sex class never gets old.
First date rules to live by.
Arrange time at least a week before.
Always be on time or 15 minutes early.
Dress with class don't try to over dress, think clean and comfortable.
Be courteous, and thoughtful call the day of the date to double check details such as casual clothes or formal, where and when to meet, etc..
Don't go overboard with drinks if drinking, personally I try not to drink on a first date or if I know I won't be driving one drink limit.
Never kiss on the first date except the famous g'night kiss. Yes I know sometimes spark fly and we get lost in the moment but usually after words it brings up to many questions, why did I... what does he/she think.... it really is not worth the hassle.
