Getting Married - Planning Your Wedding can make a Cheap Wedding Great

in

Has your dating relationship moved on to wedding bells?

Getting married is a big step that not only effects you now it effects you, your family, and future children.

But if you have looked at all of the positives and the negatives of marriage I highly suggest that you plan your wedding from proposal to honeymoon as it is very easy to forget the basics or get them lost in the chaos that comes from everyone trying to do everything. Even though your relative (read mother in law) wants to help, your need to take the reigns and delegate a few task to everyone to avoid hurt feelings.

Starting with the engagement you should always be thinking ahead about such things as invitations, announcements, scheduling, scheduling is the biggest because it does take take time for invitations to be made and mailed, wedding dances to be planned and dance lessons to be taken. Yes I said dance lesson guys take my word a few dance lessons won't kill you and it actually can turn into a fun way to spend time with your new wife later on. Besides you want to look like Fred Astaire for the first dance not Goofy.

Here in Springfield you can look up Andy and Anne Walls over at 1stdance.us they have some great packages tell them Darin at MoActive sent you over.

I did stumble upon a great Wedding plan guide while planning my daughters wedding it is great and sure saved me a ton of cash. All I did was buy a copy and send it to my daughter and she ran with it. It has way more info in then I could ever come up with. It even has some great budget worksheets and scheduling forms in it, just print em out fill them in and about half of the work is done. Over all my daughter was happy, wife happy and all in laws, well, shall we say not angry after all they are in laws :)

Actually I get along great with them and every one had blast.

One side note make sure you have plenty of room at the banquet hall you choose as it is very easy to over book them shoot for a larger spot even if you have to tone down the decorations and budget for the wedding cake etc.. You will be much happier with room to move around for the reception then having to cram in un "announced" reception guests.
