Sometimes we are on a tight budget due to being a student, credit card debt or a low paying job. What are some fun date ideas that won't break the bank?
1) Go to a bookstore such as Barnes and Nobles or Borders and enjoy sitting at a table with a cup of java, sharing a piece of pie and reading magazines. This can be a fun way to connect, people watch and be in a different environment.
2) On the weekend, many town movie theaters have rates that are affordable before the 7 pm shows. Head out to a matinée and save on the evening ticket prices.
3) Check the community section of your newspaper for free talks, college events community fairs and local sports events that will get you outside and part of the community.
4) There are lots of free parks and it can be a great place for having a picnic, flying a kite or watching a local little league team practice.
5) A trip to a museum or zoo can be a fun treat for the kids and a great interactive experience.
