It seems that there are so many times in life that we say that something has happened for a reason. At times this seems to be an over used cliché however there are times when unexpected outcomes occur, in what may seem like an unrelated issue. Some people think this is a coincidence and others believe that it is fate and still others believe in divine intervention, whatever you call it I know that it has touched my life and the life of my son.

Though I have great health care insurance through my husband's employer, we are having a hard time finding some for our daughter. Because she is not legally our daughter yet, she's not allowed to be on our insurance policy. We are planning to adopt her in the near future, but until then, all of her medical expenses must come out of my pocket. I just heard a wonderful idea from our current president about how to help defer some of the cost of health care Insurance. I hope this initiative makes it through it becomes law, however I am weary as I am sure there are some hidden drawbacks involved.

Now that my daughter is getting older I am becoming more and more concerned about family health care. When she was a baby I would have to pay for her shots and her doctor's visits with cash. Though I realized that if something horrible were to happen I would have to pay for everything out of pocket. Now to she's getting older I want to take care of her health coverage. This means I have to worry about having a comprehensive insurance coverage package that includes our entire family.

Just because you're young does not mean that you cannot get sick or need Health Insurance. It happens over and over again. A young man or young woman is at the pinnacle of his or her health. He thinks that nothing can touch him. Then suddenly, tragedy strikes. This happened to me when I was in college. Although I had college health insurance, provided through the university, it was inadequate. I was very sick, and the doctors were less than attentive. Usually, they would just have medical students look at us. It was months before they caught the problem.
