Sponsors are needed to help support a special event in March to combat Missouri’s 96.5 percent rise of foreclosures in Missouri during 2006 as reported by Foreclosures.com, a California-based real estate investment advisory firm.
This three day Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention Training program will be scheduled 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m. March 19–21 and hosted at Ozarks Technical Community College in Springfield MO.
It will feature NeighborWorks America National Training Institute instructors.
The training focus on teaching housing counselors and other mortgage professionals how to help homeowners clarify their financial situation, create a budget and improve negotiation skills between homeowners and their loan officer.
